EP girls basketball team wins opener

Going on the road to play a very difficult season-opening game, the Eden Prairie High School girls basketball team came away winners, beating Eastview by a score of 65-57.

For what it's worth, Eastview had a couple games under its belt prior to playing the Eagles.

In beating the Lightning, Morgan Van Riper-Rose led Eden Prairie with 20 points. Shayne Mullaney added 17, Jackie Johnson 10.
